I've had a few people ask me if they could pick and choose dates-absolutely! I know summer is crazy busy with sports, camps, vacations, etc. Just specify which dates you'd like to sign up for when you message/email me! Dates are below.
Email me at [email protected] or private message me on FB to sign up!
We will do lots of fun arts and crafts throughout the summer!
$10 per session includes all materials for arts and crafts and a snack!
Each day we'll do 2-4 crafts!
Some examples are weavings, salt dough magnets, dream catchers, stepping stones...
There will be one week that we do shibori t-shirt dying (June 27) and kids can either bring their own white t-shirt or I can get one for $5 if you let me know their size ahead of time!
I am only taking 8 kids per session.
Half of the session fee is due when you register and the other half is due the day of camp. This allows me to get enough supplies ahead of time.

Sometimes it takes me awhile to decide what word to focus on for the year, but this time it was easy for me. I am so good at worrying, especially about things that will likely never happen. Or if they will, it's nothing I can stop anyways. I'm also really good at making things harder on myself than they need to be.
My goal this year is to slow down and create more peaceful moments in my life.
Say no a little more.
Remember to take care of myself.
Enjoy nature.
Have more down time.
I'm also hoping to start posting here weekly. I love looking through old blog posts and I realize so many of the moments I documented on here would have been forgotten otherwise.
Wishing everyone a peaceful, happiness filled 2016.
It was so hard to narrow it down to this many pictures.
One of the things I love about taking pictures is being able to look back through them, it helps me realize just how incredible my life is.
Yes, we have our fair share of troubles, but I am so grateful for my life, family, and friends.
I can't wait to see what adventures 2016 brings!
This was the first summer in a few years that I wasn't doing school work almost everyday. It was so great to spend the summer just enjoying the kids and going on adventures. I'm so grateful for all of the things we got to do and the friends and family we spent time with! This isn't every single thing we did, but it's a pretty good snapshot of just how much fun we squeezed in! We can't wait for next summer!

I need to slow down and take care of myself.
I'm hoping that focusing on this word this year will help me do that.
Lucy
She's trouble, but she sure is pretty.
Christmas break hasn't been too relaxing around here.
We've taken our turns with the standard respiratory flu. We're finally at the tail end of it, hopefully the kids don't catch anything new when they go back this week.
We have the snowiest winter since I moved here. It's beautiful, but I won't lie, I'd love to feel some warm sunshine on my skin right now. School already got cancelled for tomorrow and it will likely be cancelled Tuesday as well.
Our bird feeder was a busy place today.
I saw chickadees, a tufted titmouse, bluebirds, and cedar waxwings.
These pictures aren't very crisp because they were taken through the window screen.
One of my goals this year is to slow down and do more of the things I love, including posting here.

Since 2007 I've been choosing a word each year to focus on.
I chose the word breathe in 2008 and as I've been trying to decide on a new word this week, I kept going back to that word. So breathe it is.
In the last couple of health classes I've taken, I have realized just how stressed out and tense I have become. At the beginning of my current class, Stress Management, I scored in the range that indicates I'm at a higher risk for heart problems. Something has to change.
It's been interesting to have to try different stress management techniques and honestly, the one that I need to work on the most is breathing deeply.
So my intention for 2014 is to...
Slow down.
Let go.
Breathe.
Last night we went to a local church's trunk or treat for games and candy! There were SO many people there from the kids school, they had a blast!
Sage was a flamenco dancer and Emerson was a ninja.
Fake dancing picture...
Fake ninja fighting picture...
Then tonight we went trick or treating with the Lademan's.
It was sprinking off and on, but the kids had a blast and got plenty of candy!
I made Sage this pink fox mask and tail this week...she LOVES it.
Happy Halloween!
