i love this quote from katherine center's essay so much.
a month or so ago i decided that i wanted to do something similar to emily falconbridge's past art journal challeges that i've played along with. in 2009 she did 52Q which i loved. and in 2007 she did art journal card prompts which i loved as well. i have done crafty things here or there...but i'm really craving more time in our art room. and i thought this might be the kick in the rear i need! i asked em if she would care if i did something similar and she didn't mind. i'm planning to do one art journal piece each sunday. i already have a hefty stash of these vintage envelopes that are approximately 3" x 5" so that's what i'm going to use. i don't expect a bunch of people to play along...but if you do it'd be fun!
