yesterday emerson was so excited about starting school today! but when i went to wake him up he stayed in bed and said, "i changed my mind mom. i just want to stay here with you." after a little convincing i got him to get up and get ready. and i let sage come with me to drop him off for his first day! i'm sure he's going to love it!
and while my house has never been this quiet before...i am looking forward to a few hours a week of being home alone! :)

they are sturdy and awesome.
and will last them through elementary school at least!

me-emerson, how did you like school today?
emerson-i loved everything except for the crackers.
and then a few minutes ago he said, "mom, mrs. mccall is sad, right?"
when i asked him why he said, "because i'm gone now."
oh my goodness i love it all! super adorable pics and love that sage wanted to support emerson with dropping him off to school. i hope its a wonderful day at school! (and get a nap or 2 in while you can!)

Wow, a whole new stage of life for you, Jill! I'm glad he loved his first day (minus the crackers). His nervous smile cracks me up.
