after seeing the pattern + instructions for these pillows in the current issue of living crafts magazine i knew i wanted to make them!
they were SO easy. seriously i think the entire process of making 2 of them took me about 90 minutes.
the kids love them.
and i think it will make roadtrips much more enjoyable.
oh! and they have lavender in them as well.
i just might have to make myself one too!
all of these are mushrooms from our yard.
they are so fasinating to me...
and yes. the kids know not to touch them.
and the ones below here sage took with my point and shoot...
today while we were out wandering yard sales we found some new tie dyed shirts.
can you believe that my little hippie children didn't own any?!
so they both got new shirts.

i accidentally uploaded the pictures in backwards order...so here is sage's party from the end to the beginning. sage's cute deer shirt was made my little sister. we had a great supper of baked potatoes, steak tips, grilled chicken and veggies. and we had pumpkin chocolate chip cake and ice cream for dessert. along with sugar cookies. can you tell she picked deer for her theme this year? the kids got to each decorate and take home a hula hoop! sage enjoyed every minute of it.
this was sage's favorite birthday gift.
she did love her new tent we made her (pictured below).
but seriously.
this 25 cent toy i picked up at goodwill was her favorite.
