the kids and i spent sunday afternoon with bob + chris and casey + josh.
jim has a rotten new schedule that has him working allllllll weekend long.
we had an incredible lunch and got to catch up.
there was bubbles and cartwheels and handstands.
we just love it there...the company and the house and yard.
in case you can't hear emerson after his cartwheel he says, "did you see that? i did so great!" :)
kristin, sage and i made these dreamcatchers this afternoon...
i had come across this tutorial on the Lune Vintage website and knew we had to try it! all three turned out so different...but i really love them all. now i'm just hoping they really do trap bad dreams and leave me with nothing but sweet dreams.

can you tell we were all happy to have some kristin time today?
emerson got his hair cut, sage got her hair braided, i got some craft time, the kids got some trampoline time and we even had pizza and treats. it doesn't get much better than that. we love you kristin.
this afternoon sage and i headed to kalamazoo for a few hours...
we went to a little kids consignment shop that i had a groupon for.
it was worth $16 and i had used referral credit to buy it so it was really free.
sage scored this awesome fairy set! we only had to pay $4 for it along with the groupon! sage was SO excited.
after that we headed to a garden store there to spend another groupon i had!
sage got an awesome container of hens + chicks. (i'll try to post a picture tomorrow!)
i got some lavender and a few other flowers to plant. i like free stuff. a lot.
next we headed to the book bug for some music + browsing.
i loooove this bookstore!
there was all kinds of activities going on in that plaza today!
shhhh. don't tell jim and emerson that we got ice cream cones.
i don't get to get out of the house with just sage very often.
she's such a good kid. i'm lucky she's mine.
she's pretty dang cute too.
i had jim take a couple of pictures of us when we got home...
the kids and i returned from a 13 day visit to arizona today.
we had a great time even though we had our fair share of stress thrown in!

i went upstairs to put emerson to bed...
then went in the art room for a couple minutes to look for a paper...
peeked in emerson's room and saw that he was asleep already.
i wish so badly that i could fall asleep as fast as he does.
then as i was walking down the stairs i saw this.
sage is the opposite of emerson as far as falling asleep goes.
it takes her forever to get to sleep...so i know she was wiped out!
so so so sweet though. we have the best pets.
i am gearing up for a super busy day tomorrow...
and the friday morning the kids + i head to AZ!
