i'm alive!

 

so. a few days ago my laptop stopped working.

we bought this cord that is supposed to let you read a hard drive from another computer. but when we plugged mine in none of my documents showed up. but i was able to get this picture off of my last laptop hard drive.

i love it. it's a picture of sage's tiny feet...when she was a month old.

i'm still anxious about getting all the pictures off my current laptop.

i'm seriously KICKING MYSELF for not backing up my computer more often.

i do have some stuff backed up...but i also have a LOT that wasn't.

stupid.

i know.

anyways! i've been stealing jim's laptop when i can.

i have so many pictures i need to upload...but his computer doesn't have the memory. i'm going crazy not being able to edit pictures!

i've had a great week. even with some sciatica + back pain...it was still good!

today we had 70 degree weather.

i loved having the windows open.

i worked last night + tonight.

and tomorrow i get to go + scrap with a few girls from work. i can't wait.

it's been a week full of hanging out with family + friends. so grateful for that.

oh! before my computer died i did post kenton+ wendy's pictures over on my photography blogHERE.

i got to take my nephew kenton + his fiance wendy's pictures today! it was so fun. it was freezing out...but we toughed it out! they took me to red robin to eat afterwards. and my awesome niece nancee watched the kids for me. the kids love her!! sage got to show off her mario brothers 3 skills. and yesterday my niece jessica + her cute boys stopped by to play. i really am so grateful for such fun nieces + nephews who like to hang out with us! more pictures to come soon.

chicken chili

ok. so while you west coasters may be having warm weather...

we're not! snow is in the forecast for sunday-tuesday!

a couple weeks ago sage + i went over to a friends house (super cute twins from sage's preschool) for lunch + we had this delicious chicken chili! (some of you may know that i'm a VERY picky eater...so this was a big deal!) thanks SO much ann for the recipe!!

1 big glass jar of great northern beans

Pound and a half of cooked and shredded chicken

24 ounces chunky salsa (i tossed mine in the blender since i'm not a fan of chunky salsa!)

6 oz can green chile

3 cups chicken broth (2 cans)

16 oz shredded cheese

2 tablespoons cumin (i skipped this)

cook in a crock pot on low all day!

serve with tortilla chips + enjoy!
